The Salvation Army Owen Sound and Saugeen Shores Community and Family Services are affiliated members of the Ontario Association of Food Banks.
The Food Bank offers emergency food to unemployed and under-employed people who are hungry because they do not have enough food for themselves or their families.
Clients need to see an Intake Worker and are required to bring photo ID, proof of income, and ID for all members of their household. Contact information is listed under the 'Owen Sound' tab and 'Saugeen Shores' tab.
In addition to the Food Bank, The Salvation Army Community and Family Services provide a variety of services such as assistance with clothing and household items, children's camps and camps for Mom's and Children, special cooking classes, income tax clinics, as well as Christmas food and toy assistance.
